Southern Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. Gets The First “Vietnam Value” Certificate

The honor to be one of 97 brands in the whole country who achieve the Vietnam Value 2018 is a great pride to SSSC.

In the end of June 1995, on the deserted land in Bien Hoa Industrial Zone, SSSC was established by the cooperation among Vietnam Steel Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) and FIW Steel SDN. BHD. (Malaysia). Since then, SSSC has continuously and stably grown. SSSC has not only becomes a corporate that contributes to the development of the national economy but also a typical example for the good cooperation between Vietnam Steel Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation in particular, and Vietnam and Japan in general.

In order to achieve this, SSSC has been proceeding with cautious and serious steps on the basis of absolute compliance with the quality policy, continuously modernizing the technology, pioneering almost all modern technological trends in the world. Specifically, SSSC invested a continuous galvanizing line with NOF technology and the capacity of 100,000 tpy; a continuous galvalume line with the NOF technology from Tenova (Italy) with the capacity of 170,000 tpy; 2 color coating lines with capacity of 140,000 tpy. The total investment capital for the project exceeds VND 1,400 billion, equivalent to USD 70 million. The operation of the new factory has increased the total capacity of SSSC by 3 times.

One new point in Vietnam Value 2018 is that the winners must ensure the growth in profit besides achieving the strict criteria in all aspects such as environment, finance and security. After the inspection round, the National Brand Council of 19 members from all ministries and industries will process the evaluation.
